Online Business Tactics

Tuesday, January 25th, 2011

This is a blatant plug for my new blog Online Business Tactics where you can find information about alternative business tactics that can increase your income.

There are many different online business tactics that will lead to a substantial income.  Affiliate marketing, as we know, is one of the easiest ways to quickly, and relatively easily, create that income.

Some of the business tactics you will need to be using will be traffic generation, listbuilding, blogging, using forums and Web2.0 sites for backlinks and Google(c) love.

This blog, High Flying Affiliates ,  deals mainly with the Affiliate Marketing tactic and, I hope, you are finding the information here to be what you can use either as knowledge for later or as a ‘do it now’ action.

Online Biz Tactics will offer more options and choices for you to consider when generating your income or looking to update it.  I’ll try to cover as many different topics as I can with the over 250Mb of information that I have accumulated.

Reports of the death of email marketing have been premature. A combination of spam,
Twitter, blogs, and Facebook have been unable to kill email marketing or render it
outmoded. Research by the Direct Marketing Association showed that in 2009 email
marketing generated a return on investment of $43.62 for every dollar spent on it. The
number for 2010 is expected to be comparable. Email marketing outperforms all other
direct marketing channels.

You can read more about this in “Four Easy Steps To Email Marketing“.  This is a zipped .pdf file so ‘right click, save as/save target as’ to your desktop so you can read it right away.
Then be sure to leave a comment re. you liked, did not like, would like to see more, would like to see something else.  Oh yeah, if you have a question, maybe I or someone else here can help you find the answer.

Affiliate Marketing Using Web 2.0

Wednesday, September 29th, 2010

It’s been some time since the Web went 2.0.  When it did it opened up a whole new area of affiliate marketing.  Using social networks and other Web2.0 services means we can interact with our potential customers and develop relationships with our visitors.   Feedback and comments allow us to discover EXACTLY what our customers are looking for.  The quality of the relationship is the deciding factor that will keep these visitors on our LIST and increase our income.

We must bear in mind the scope of using Web2.0, or social sites to build our business.  We must be aware always of the impact of our various ‘profiles’ on these sites.  If your follower from Twitter, who loves your short informative tweets, checks you out on Facebook you must ensure that there are no conflicts or discrepancies in what you have related in both places.  For example, you are an affiliate marketer on Facebook but you make a post on your personal blog about the shady and untrustworthy tactics of affiliate marketers you may find people quickly ‘bailing from your boat’.  Be aware always that you are enhancing your image as an expert/answer man/woman in your niche.

So, take your phone off the hook, turn off your instant messaging and email and watch this 25 min video from http://www.affiliatedotcom.com

Mike Filsaime is a VERY SUCCESSFUL AFFILIATE MARKETER and in the following video he shares some valuable information about how to work ON your business and not IN it!  Watch the video and get the FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY that Mike has to offer.
